Boris Frumin

As a student at the prestigious VGIK in Moscow, 20 year old Frumin interned for the legendary Gregory Kozintzev on KING LEAR. and through a series of serendipitous events, became his 1st AD. Fresh out of college, Frumin directed DIARY OF A SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, a film that established him as a rising star. His films have screened all over the world. His credits include OSHIBKI YUNOSTI, selected for the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival and SIBERIAN TRIANGLE, premiering at the Moscow Film Festival. The most recent work penned by Frumin has screened at Cannes, Tokyo, Korlovy Vary, Rotterdam, and many others. Frumin has also served on the NYU grad film faculty for over twenty years, mentoring such acclaimed directors as Debra Granik, Gianfranco Rosi, Cary Fukunaga, and Bennett Miller.
