Philipp Hoffmann

Philipp Hoffmann is an artist and photographer from Milwaukee, Wi. Using still images and experimental video techniques, Hoffmann investigates themes of self-empowerment, systemic violence, and perceptual phenomena. His recent commissioned work includes photographing exhibitions and events for the Austrian Cultural Forum New York, filming for TEDxGramercy, on set photography for the film Coming to Youwith director Kirill Mikhanovsky, providing album art and portraiture for several bands, and other collaborations with clients and peers. A segment of Hoffmann’s is featured in Dan Black’s A Long Duck... which was presented at the Ann Arbor Film Festival in 2017. Hoffmann considers himself a student of the world, having traveled to 26 countries on photographic journeys. He is currently living and working in New York City. http://www.philippjameshoffmann.com/
